I have a close family friend who is 93 yrs. old and he spent 31 yrs in the military. Today is a very somber day for him. two of his brothers died at Normandy.

I think it’s better to keep playing competitive games heading into the tournament

While it’s a really tough call, I probably wouldn’t fine/suspend Vitello

Ronald Acuña Jr. will miss the rest of the 2024 season after an MRI on Sunday night revealed a complete tear of the ACL in his left knee. He is set to undergo surgery at a date to be determined, the Braves announced.

Really hate for him

He’s an elite talent - the best I’ve seen the Braves produce in my 40+ years of watching. But the injury bug looks like it will keep him from fulfilling his full potential

To a point, I agree. It's a fine line. I think Vitello has done a masterful job in balancing reps with not burning kids out. Still, I have a feeling the selection committee will lay out one heckuva mine field for us today. A little extra rest might have come in handy in hindsight.

I would never jinx another person to get to you. Acuna never did anything to me. If I wanted to bring you pain, I would just buy the Papermill WH and then burn it down.
