Not a rebuild from last year? Surely no one was betting on 10-2. So, a rebuild. FPI...Vegas...everyone had us around 8.5 wins.No it wasn't
We came in with a lot more depth and experience and plenty potential
Our O/U opened at 9.5Not a rebuild from last year? Surely no one was betting on 10-2. So, a rebuild. FPI...Vegas...everyone had us around 8.5 wins.
Depth is nice.
But top notch super talents are better. HH and Hyatt are the best at their position all time. Crazy to think we were ready to replace them yet, while also having a 2021 class completely gone and our top 10 classes just in infancy or not here yet.
This was always a transition between HH and Nico and far more team talent.
The play against South Carolina was unacceptable no matter what month it was in. Same with the way we played against Florida this year lolYes because us scoring 16 vs UF had nothing to do with it. Or 13 (14?) Vs UGA.
We allowed 28 to UF last year at home. 29 this year on the road. Yet you treat the 2 massively different, despite the delta in offensive ouput.
You're talking as if we blew gimme playoff births, when the reality is even sniffing one is insane to begin with. We literally had to beat Bama, the reigning ACC champ, and SEC West champ...JUST to reach that point. You're only upset because of the chronology. As if a loss to USCjr in September would have been forgiveable, but in late October not.
Keeping this receipt.
Right, the chronology doesn't matter. The play against South Carolina was unacceptable no matter what month it was in. Same with the way we played against Florida this year lol
Obviously we had to do other great stuff to get there. Nobody has said it was a disappointing Season. Or beating Bama and UF wasn’t great. But that doesn’t change the fact losing to a lesser opponent no matter what month it is, is throwing away an opportunity at an even better season, especially when you do beat the Bama’s of the worldRight, the chronology doesn't matter.
It stinks because we lost as a sizeable favorite.
But "we blew it" is missing the boat. We had to do insane things to even be in that position. The chronology doesn't change that. Some folks would be happier had we already been out of the race, but then won
I’ve got the same shirt. Back country hunter association50lbs to start the day. Nonstop action since. A dozen 40 and 30lb fish. Sadly lost a giant.

One game should be very disturbing?I'm going to keep this one too... Unless something dramatically changes tonight and we get everyone on the same page, in sync, and playing complete football, we are going to most likely go 6-6 or 7-5... Which will be unacceptable with the talent we have and folks better sober up and start realizing that maybe this staff ain't all that... I hope they prove me wrong, but not getting the warm and fuzzies watching KY and A&M...It all depends on our Oline, if our QB can get it straight between the ears, and our DC actually starts doing his job and not coasting in soft zone each game. He could do it last year and get away with it because we were scoring points on every drive. Now he's getting exposed... Hopefully Heup has some good DC's on speed dial.
What should be most disturbing to everyone is the fact that KY has no where near the talent on their roster that we do, their recruiting rankings are always in the teens and twenties, and they are dismantling FL, a team that beat our butt a few weeks ago. AND we play KY at grocery store field.
REALLY want to see us get it together tonight and turn the corner on this season... we have the talent...

Would love to win ofc, but nothing this season will change the amazing trajectory we are on with our stud freshman, incoming dudes, recruiting and ongoing elite coaching by Hype. That won't be changed.
