Block in the back is a safety issue, always called even if it doesn't affect the play. Similar to facemask, even if it's 50 yards from the play you still throw it.

Holding is where you only throw it if it affects the play.

I honestly think the ref knew not to throw the flag once the ball was caught. He was just waiting on the catch (we would've declined so..). He'd have thrown it if Squirrel hadn't caught it. And watching at home I was screaming for the flag - I had no clue he caught it at first.

Told y'all...I spent all last year noting how much he flashed and predicting future greatness, and lamenting the rumors he was wanting out...also Josephs who isn't far behind him an people aren't really noticing much imo.

This is one time I am proud to say I told you so.

It's close, and I think mahomes is better. But Allen seems to escape and improvise more theatrically. Mahomes has crazy throws, but when Allen starts scrambling and then throws the ball on a frozen rope or 60 yards down the field, it's so fun to watch.
