Reading comments from FSU fans got me thinking. If the roles were reversed, we would be saying the same thing. That we were robbed and the umps suck and this ish is riggedand etc.....So glad that the roles weren't reversed last night! That was an incredible win by our BaseVols!

Absolutely we would. We've been on the other side of that for sure, but i'd like to think i'd also say one check swing call didn't get four runs over the plate in the fourth to win.

You know the difference...we have gotten royally screwed by BAD to HORRIBLE calls so many times in so many HUGE moments in so many sports..

That was a 50/50 call...it wasn't a bad or horrible call, and anybody says it was is either a dang liar or doesn't understand the rule..it just went our way for what seems like the first time ever.

But you know what?...even if it had been a bad call...I would not give a single runny ....we have been dry "you know what" SOOOOO many times that I do not care anymore...we deserve for it to go our way.

One thing I will never forget as a young man was as a Reds fan and the Big Red Machine days. Mediocre pitching, decent defense, one quality rubber armed reliever in the pen - and a line-up of stone cold killers at the plate. Never out of a game. Just this amazing collection of hitters, a number of which are in the HOF today. I still see in my mind's eye as Sparky Anderson, Captain Hook, goes rushing to the mound to pull the pitchers to limit the damage.

This team has reminded me of those teams all season. The Big Orange Machine led by our own Captain Hook.
