To be fair, we would’ve been doing the same thing.Man the interwerbz are littered with mad FSU trolls...Oh the fact that we're supposedly cheaters amd prepare to hear about the Burke check swing that they thought should have been an stike to end it(I mean it kinda should have) lmfao but who cares but it's gonna be discusses at nauseum either way but nice to not be on the screwed side for once

Combs was getting squeezed bad but running that mouth towards umpire didn't help the situation either. What I find wild, FSU fans have 1 call in the entire game to complain about.
How many for the Vols? Hell Combs had an entire inning where his zone was the size of a tuna can.
You lose after getting a 6 spot in the third it’s not about 1 check swing.
This will be something I’ll be monitoring. We’re now #7 all time and climbing fast. Probably be #6 by the end of lunch.

Well said.Letter to the FSU fans crying:
Both teams made mistakes to give the game away and made plays to win the game. Both teams made multiple errors defensively. Chalk it up to the clay, grass, or nerves. Blake Burke mistakes made up 4-5 runs for FSU alone. FSU mistakes gave UT 2-3 and cost FSU 1 at least. You can't whine over the ifs and buts, that's part of the game that 1 team overcomes to win and the other doesn't.
A single call doesn't decide a ball game. At the end of the day, FSU shouldn't have even been pitching to Blake Burke. FSU had 5 chances to get 3 outs through the bottom of the Vols' order before Burke walked up including walking a pinch hitter showing a bunt in 5 pitches. Had enough pitches to Burke to end the game before the checked swing. Had multiple pitches after. After surrendering the tying run, FSU had 2 more batters they could've retired to go to extra innings and couldn't. At the end of the day, 1 call didn't decide the game. Tennessee outhit FSU 18-13 and made those hits count. FSU's aces did all they could but still couldn't contain Tennessee's offense. At the end of the day, that's what it came down to.
Idk but still unranked, I'd think they're the worst team in the CWS. State and UVA in 2nd tier.Florida closed pretty strong didn't they? I think they had injuries the first half of the year?
No worriesIdk but still unranked, I'd think they're the worst team in the CWS. State and UVA in 2nd tier.
Just sucks if we end up in the semifinals with...of course...the 3 other best teams in the WHOLE country smh. We haven't made a semifinal in a major sport since 2008 Lady Vols (unless I'm missing one idk)...so this lineup would be such "UT luck".
Maybe UVA can get their shiz together. And either of the losers' bracket on the other half I'm good with.
Here is my gif to FSU fans crying about the umps…. It also relays my feelings when we do the same thing.Letter to the FSU fans crying:
