Broadly speaking, yes there are no easy outs. For sure. That started the moment the super regionals did.

But there are still differences in teams. Otherwise every CWS game would have even Vegas odds.

I mean...if you're a random team would you rather be facing TAMU or UVA? UK or NC State? And of course nobody wants to face us...so...

There are still material differences, even if lesser teams catch a bit of luck to get there. Look at the Men's FF. No way you want to play UConn over facing NC St/Bama just because those 2 caught a bit of heat at the right time, short-term variance doesn't make them overall as good or better.

Take the favorable odds.

Baseball is nothing like basketball....I don't give a about odds, all these teams can beat your ass now.

I will give you one thing I agree with...there are pitchers I don't want to deal with...and that does make a big difference..IF..those pitchers are on their game.
