On a serious note, people in the Knoxville area will most likely have heard about this. A 29 YO Knoxville deputy was shot and killed on a domestic violence call. He's a former Powell High school graduate, was in school when my daughter graduated. He leaves behind two small children and a wife. He was on his last shift as a patrol officer and was going to be a K9 officer.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and say a little prayer for them. I'm sure they are struggling mightily.

The scum that killed him did take the asphalt temperature challenge thankfully.

You know there's a lot of questions on Bama when they're only 2.5 pt favorite vs an unranked opponent (ranked 28th to be fair).

But also think bettors have more confidence in a talented defensive team like TAMU than some let on. All comes down to can Jimbo get out of his own way...and so far...not often.

A&M’s dline is really good, linebackers are good/ok and that secondary is meh to me. Miami (competent qb play) exposed their secondary. I think bama wins, but it will be low scoring.
