I would be so bitterly miserable right now if we had lost. There's no guarantee of getting back here and certainly not winning it.

IMO, this opens up things in a big way for Tony V. The pressure is off. He's got his title. But he's young and still hungry. I don't think he's won his only/last by a long shot.

I remember earlier in the season when Tony said in a press conference where he was obviously prodding the team because he wanted better effort, that he had told the guys they weren't the best team in college baseball and that they had to give maximum effort.(paraphrasing)

Welp...he might have been right then...but he ain't now...they are one of the best EVER!

I don't know why that comment came to me just now...I don't even know why it stuck in my old head...but do any of you other guys remember that?
