We honestly do not have a lot of elite arms on this staff. I am not trying to insult anyone. We have amazing pitchers. Tony and Frank assembled a helluva staff under very difficult circumstances. They instilled confidence in them and the guys just flat out delivered. Incredible job all around.

I saw the Gibson thread and everyone is taking about NIL collective and contracts and money.

Does anyone know these kids have EVERYTHING picked up for them for the years they are in school? Imagine you and your wife make 100k, you have mortgage, car payments, taxes, household operating expenses blah blah blah...it is all paid for. Heck, I am sure the local restaurants cover them for a lot of stuff. If they live in town for 3 years, they basically live for free. The 6 or 7 figure deals are just gravy. I think they like to talk about money but I think a majority of them are not solely motivated by the initial money.
