They never sounded like the glam bands…. They made a big deal out of how they weren’t going to be commercialized like other bands. They proved to be 100% FOS….. It didn’t bother me but it was hilarious bc my friend had bought into their rebel persona.

For the record…. i enjoyed the glam bands and Metallica’s old and new sound.

They did become a little glam at the end.

Maybe helping to publicize it here helped in some small way. Ole Miss fined $75,000 by SEC office for throwing trash. The fine is 30% of the fine assessed on Tennessee.

There is also a weird descrency in the reporting by Birmingham's broadcast partner ESPN. They choose not to show the Ole Miss fans throwing trash. They cut the video right before it starts.

There is the additional discrepancy in that they combine the storming the field fine with the throwing trash fine, which make a bigger number for their headline.

After being fined $100,000 for fans storming the field, Ole Miss was docked another $75,000 by the SEC for fans throwing debris onto the field vs. LSU.

Beer cans and water bottles is what I saw. They threw a chair (!) last year after the Egg Bowl, but iirc Sankey let that pass without penalty.
