Played on grass once at Hilton Head. Man, its fast. Lots of fun. Cant imagine a 110 mph serve on grass

If you're on a lot of grass, all serves seen like they're 110 mph.

Good for you. We ate at McEwen's on the square and it was good. Heard Ajax is good. There are a couple of area sites associated with Faulkner, if you have time before you leave and are interested.

The food like the football is better in Knoxville.

yea got to be tough, especially when the ball hits some Tennessee crabgrass.
I played on clay in 8th grade team with my Cris Everett woodie. Slip and slide.

Decent chance. However, I would lean towards Brian Reynolds as the Pirates rep. My guess is another pitcher is picked from another team that opts out (injury or such) and Skenes gets picked as a replacement. Lot of guys seem to make it that way every year.

@knoxvol52 After tonight's game, might get both in. Skenes went 7, struck out 8, 2 runs against the Mets. Reynolds had a HR from both sides, Grand Slam, and 6 RBIs. Skenes is 5-0.

Cool story bro time.

Our high school team played against his (Fairview) when he was a senior. I was just a freshman on the JV team at the time and did not get to take the field, but watched. He was a man amongst boys. They killed us - Fairview was a baseball school. Mark Dempsey played there a decade later. There were a couple other MLB guys before Mike.
