Recruiting Football Talk VII

Outside of recruits that commit to the top 3 or 4 schools, commits are more than likely to drop than rise in the rankings. They need people to follow recruiting throughout the year to get clicks and make money. The way to do this is have more high ranked uncommitted players.

Now for George I don't think it's personally fair to him since he's the same player, but it's also expect that recruits who don't play the game are going to be more likely to suffer in the rankings. Would it be fair for a recruit who showed out in the Elite 11 to not move up when someone didn't even participate? What would be the point of the event? George is still a great talent, and chosing to not play the game of recruiting doesn't change his talent, but it will change what the talent evaluators will say.
When you are rated that high, you have to perform. He was not overly impressive at a couple of earlier camps. Elite 11 was a chance to bounce back and he could not play. But the explanation of how drop was based on the other times he did perform not some giant conspiracy.

Hillman is ok. Id rather eat doodoo than drink cider or mead.

Id read about Burial Forestry. Looks cool.

When we lived there, Biltmore area was dead, lots of open spots, closed down places. Same for River Arts. There are literally no places nowadays to put anything. There are businesses on top of businesses.

Highland is worth a visit. But real gem is Sierra Nevada.
Sister has been here 20 years. Hates what’s happening. They’ve built like 7-8 apartment and retirement communities along two lane Sweeten Creek. Mornings and late afternoons are terrible. An hour to get to her gym 2 miles away some days.

Interesting, I too lived in Meridian, MS (on the Navy base) in the '80's. And I was also in school. It was elementary school, but still school.

I went Navy "A" school in Meridian in 1990. I was there late summer into the fall. I remember the heat more than anything. So hot you could barely breathe.

On the positive side, Vol played at Miss St that year. Went with a few buddies. Didn't hear too many cowbells that day 😀

Anyone know of any flea treatment for the yard? The buggers are attacking my dogs big time this year. Never seen fleas in such abundance
I have used TRIAZICIDE with a fertilizer spreader for years. Fleas never an issue, ticks every once in a while, but they can come off trees and bushes. I have seen more flea specific liquids, but have zero experience.

He did two camps and one of those camps it was 20 mph winds, it’s not a conspiracy but it was politics…
