To think otherwise is silly. However, to chalk this up as an L is equally as silly. Our team showed massive improvement on the offensive side of the ball with Cooper back at C. And with the exception of the one long run, our Defense shut Rattled down hard and I would say he is a better QB that Max Johnson. I think it will be a hard fought game where our fans give us the edge and we pull away late to win by a couple of scores.aTm is gonna be a very tough game.
Not saying A&M or their OL are world-beaters, but you're jumping past nuance pretty darn quick and jumping straight to conclusions. There's a reason Vegas has this game as basically a toss-up on a neutral field.Gave up 5 sacks and 6 tackles vs loss against Alabama...now let's talk about A&M terrific defense ..gave up 320 yards passing to a Middle Tier QB in MilRoe..who out played Max Johnson ...easily..

It would be nice to talk about it in a game thread...
SCAR would've been a massive upset, this would just be a tough loss. It's very possible that we're a legitimately solid football team that might also lose to A&M on Saturday. I think we beat them so I'm not predicting it, just saying that in a sport as crazy as college football it happens. The confidence on this board is going to give off the illusion that if we somehow lose it's a massive upset that's Heupel's fault, and it just isn't that simple.
Both A&M and UT offenses are averaging 36 points per game. We are giving up about 17 points per game and they are giving up about 19 points per game. It is likely to be a mid 20's to high teens type of score. Fans need to bring it and defense needs to get some turnovers to give the offense bonus possessions. Not saying A&M or their OL are world-beaters, but you're jumping past nuance pretty darn quick and jumping straight to conclusions. CJH and staff had all of last week and this week to put a game plan together to beat A&M easily...also Jumbo teams suck on road see Miami game..2. They lost their Super Bowl to Bama again..so they will be on a down..Vegas line is a sucker bet for A&M fans lol...I say Tennessee wins by double digits ..if we lose then scream at meBoth A&M and UT offenses are averaging 36 points per game.
