One of my biggest concerns, from a fan's point of view, is. . .

You know a&m is gonna get through our OL and get to Milton a few times this game. I'm worried that they get through early and knock the piss out of him from the blindside, then he just completely shuts down and goes into a shell.

We've seen him collapse mentally after tweaking his knee and seeing Bru get hurt. I hope he doesn't fold up like a Japanese fan when someone gives him a good shot.

Really good take here... I love Milton and he gives his all, but between the ears and from a mindset/adversity standpoint, he has shown to go into a shell if he gets rocked and things don't go his way on offense early... Can't explain it, it just is what it is... Hooker seemed to be motivated by adversity early in games but Joe retreats... Yet he has the physical tools to lean into it and advance. I hope he finds a way and a mindset to stay focused and motivated to make adjstments, don't get frustrated and retreat, but get more aggressive and make them pay for it... a winner's mentality...
People don't like me on here, but as I said yesterday, it's all going to come down to our Oline vs their Dline and giving Milton enough time, and our defense being able to pressure their QB regularly and clogging the run. If we fail on one or both of those scenarios, we will find ourselves with a L.... Will be interesting to see how the staff has prepared for this. Milton MUST use his legs or we may be toast and Walter Nolen will be able to throw the middle finger in the air to those who said he made a mistake by picking them over the good guys...
