If our passing game can find even a pulse we’re an incredibly dangerous team with the way our defense, special teams, and run game are.

If Nico has the talent, you almost have to play him. Joe is throwing freshmen level INTs as a 6th year guy. We have to be multi-dimensional to beat Alabama and/or UGA and Joe has not shown he can do it.

I couldn’t believe how bad it was when they played it on TV. He sounded uninterested. That’s when you know it’s time to move on.
I don't like screamers, in announcers, at any rate, but if you are going to be relatively calm you absolutely have to be super accurate and very insightful. Otherwise, it sounds like Bob.

I’ve always said Bob needs a Bert for football, but no one could have saved that garbage call.

OK, just got home and I'm going to watch the game now. But, before reading comments or watching, I'm going to make three assumptions:

1) Tennessee D played one hell of a game.
2) As expected, Texas A&M D was stout.
3) Is Joe Milton really the guy?

Off to see if these assumptions are valid.

Game thoughts...

#27 stands out the same way Derek Barnett stood out. It's honestly insane. Double teams and getting held all game. Still, back there taking the snap.

Backend gets a B+. Second level gets a B+. Front four get an A+.

Props to Ekeler for setting up the punt return there. Very easy to go all out to block that but I love giving Dee the opertunity and taking a roughing the punter off the table. Special teams had a great game.

Now then... I am officially in the "The staff doesn't trust Milton" club. Obviously, the defense was playing out of their mind so that's part of it. But so many chances to put the game away. Milton either botched them or they didn't give him a chance. And can you blame them? His INT in the end zone was as bad as you'll see. The safety wasn't disguised... He simply never bothered to find him. Running out of bounds on a free play... I've just accepted Milton is going to inexplicably run out of bounds on average every other game. How much trust can you have in someone doing bone headed, inexplicable things? A heap of blame has to go to the Oline for awful penalties, but still..

Oline had a great day if you don't count penalties, which were back breaking. But I felt there were many plays that were blocked up and the RB just couldn't make one guy miss or find the hole. Don't know why Small is playing so much over Sampson. I'm sure they have their reasons. Small is a good player. Sampson and Wright are great players. They got home a few times on Milton but they were going to, they have a great front 7. Still, many plays where he had time, had open WRs, and could not make the throw.
I thought that after the Sampson fumble, which happens in football, they rightfully leaned on the other 2 guys. I really wish they’d have gotten Sampson in the pass game more after that. Him and Wright in the backfield at the same time could be dangerous. Dylan is really good in space out of the backfield

If you're still there, see how often we put someone right on the Center earlier on. He got rattled.

I'll watch again later. Have fun!!

North Carolina is 5-0 and ranked #12, and there's a lot of empty seats in their home game against Miami. Crazy
Basketball school. I have a family member that’s a huge NC football guy, and he constantly complains about fan support for their football program.
