Think it’s a combination. Receivers got open last year but Hooker was good at throwing guys open too. Milton hasn’t thrown guys open nearly as much if at all so with him it’a throwing directly to the guy except on play action bombs. Hooker also made a lot of perfect throws last year. Milton has 1st round tools/talent but Hooker had 1st round performance (before the injury)I am actually shocked at how bad the group is.
No one really separates or gets open. Always good for a key drop or two.
And I don’t understand why Milton has regressed so much.
He needs Hendon talking to him during the game. That seems to be the X factor with Joe. Get HH a microphone and put a headset in Milton's helmet. Problem solvedMilton seems to play differently after a couple of no-call pass interference, and/or drops. He seems to lose confidence and play slower. His receivers can help him with the drops. There doesn't seem to be an answer for the bad officiating. We easily lost 21 points today due to drops and no-calls.
He ran much harder in the 2nd half. That was great to see.
