Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Just because he isn’t playing well on the road in a tough environment doesn’t mean he’s overrated..that’s all I’m sayin!! 🤷‍♀️
He has 0 points. His inability to convert 3rd downs or read defenses pre-snap is killing us. He is playing on a team with a very good defense. If he was on any other Heupel-era defense, he'd be 3-2 after this game. He just isn't playing winning football. We are winning in spite of Nico... Fortunately

Arkansas has been running a lot of 3-2-6 tonight just like OU did. Just like Uga has the past 2 years against us. It’s not hard to stop the run with 5 guys if they’re well coached and stay in the lanes
5 offensive lineman, most the time a TE, with 5 in the box and “it’s not hard to stop the run”. No, that’s a failure on the OL. This is very very basic

Teams have purposely been changing their scheme against us to leave 5 men in the box against us. That’s what you’re ignoring
I’m not ignoring it at all. WHEN THERE’S 5-6 BLOCKERS, YOU SHOULD WIN EVERY SINGLE SNAP

If it was that simple EVERY cfb team would rush for 200+ a game lol. Very few teams run the traditional 4-3 and 3-4 ESPECIALLY against offense that never run 12 personnel

Ive noticed this to. When Briles was running the B12 a lot of teams ran this and the 335 against him. Heup has to find the adjustment to this.
