The playcalling looks exactly the same as last season. It's like all the creativity left with Golesh. They're also trying to protect Nico too much. If they want to bounce back from this, then they've got to cut it loose and deal with the growing pains. This was a bad loss.

Nico is a young player. Most were saying we only have him for two years. I don’t think he goes pro after next year now. So I think he’ll learn from this and grow and we’ll have him a couple more years after this.

Here is what I see.

- The play calling all year has led me to believe that there is a lack of confidence in Nico to make the right read, or a lack of confidence in the o-line to pass protect. Or both.

- When we do seem to pass block, about 50% of the time, Nico just doesn’t throw the ball. I can’t see the whole field, so I won’t call those coverage sacks. Maybe they are. Idk. He holds onto the ball a lot. For whatever reason.

- The film is out there now. Teams are gonna make us win throwing the ball. We gotta figure it out.

The season is effectively over. We aren't going to beat Georgia or Bama..... We'll make a bowl game and more the playoffs.


This group better keep receipts and be angry next year. Heupel needs to get the o line together. They aren't close to what is needed. It was fools gold from the start. Fix it and move on to the next one.

The season is done, we aren't beating Bama or Georgia this year. It is what it is. Such a waste.

We won’t beat Florida next week if we play like that again. Weak play calling. One quarter where we played like ourselves and 3 where we played like we had 9 quarters to get it together.
