Recruiting Football Talk VIII

First off, they weren't coming open all night. There were open guys sometimes, but innovation would have been finding ways to help a struggling OL. Like 12 personnel instead 4 wr sets over and over. It's not all that impressive to scheme 4 wr open and leave nobody behind to help the struggling OL. Scheming wr open while helping the OL would have been innovative.

Adjustments were made. Kept backs in to help in pass pro. They also whiffed and/or didn’t know their assignment. Also when TEs were assigned to block they were also bad. All systems failure from the offense including Nico. Multiple instances of this. Ran some quick hitters to help a struggling OL that Nico either didn’t see or didn’t trust what he was seeing.

We ran in up the middle all night, over and over. One outside run the entire night that I counted. No creativity. No innovation. Stubbornly decided to rely on defense. There was no innovation and few adjustments happening last week.

If you take away Nico’s rushing stats bc basically all of those were scrambles and sacks, we rushed for 6.36 ypc.

Been busy but just sat down to watch some football and uh oh, Bama. Has it been a fluky game or have the Cock Commanders really been the better team today (so far)?
