First off, they weren't coming open all night. There were open guys sometimes, but innovation would have been finding ways to help a struggling OL. Like 12 personnel instead 4 wr sets over and over. It's not all that impressive to scheme 4 wr open and leave nobody behind to help the struggling OL. Scheming wr open while helping the OL would have been innovative.
We ran in up the middle all night, over and over. One outside run the entire night that I counted. No creativity. No innovation. Stubbornly decided to rely on defense. There was no innovation and few adjustments happening last week.Adjustments were made. Kept backs in to help in pass pro. They also whiffed and/or didn’t know their assignment. Multiple instances of this. Ran some quick hitters to help a struggling OL that Nico either didn’t see or didn’t trust what he was seeing.
