Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Somehow I accidentally posted this in the FF.

Happy Chooseday! How nice is this message on Bama week!

October 15, 2023: Take a deep breath. You have been here before and have gained the victory. This is no different. Set yourself to stay calm and do not doubt the breakthrough that is coming. Exercise quiet reserve and patience. Ecclesiastes 7:8 The end of a thing is better than its beginning, and the patient in spirit is better than a proud in spirit.

This will NEVER EVER get old!🧡🍊👊🏻

Not to be that guy but you’re talking 500/600 calories for a can of chili and crackers vs 1k+ for a fast food meal. The sodium in canned chili is rough. It’s not terrible otherwise.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that saw that lol

The point being that if your concern is health, there are so many better options than that. The nitrates alone are shown to cause oat least six kinds of cancer. There's more to health than counting calories. You're probably better off getting a salad from McDonalds than all the nitrates in sandwich meat or the sodium in canned chili.

But the point is that it's not a binary option. One could refuse fast food AND pack healthier options for lunch if health is the decision maker here as the OP seemed to indicate.

That's one of those "dangerous in massive quantities" ingredients. Like aspertame. The studies showing they're carcinogenic have unreasonably high doses given to mice as basically their entire diet.

If you eat cured salami every day for years, sure, you'll have a higher risk of cancer.

I don't think he will.
