I'm predicting how the rankings will go this week not the final rankings. The committee will only put the 4th best conference champion into the top 4 after the conference championship games are played. So until the final rankings from the committee expect to not see the best team from the Big 12 in the 4 spot until the conference championships have been decided.

I was wondering how they would handle that.

This ish is going to be so confusing for folks.

Kitselman was a monster last night in all facets. We need more 12 personnel sets

I think we're more dangerous in 12-personnel this year. Harder to scheme for. More wrinkles to expose defenses with. And much easier to lean on the running attack if we want to.

I think Nico is more comfortable with it too.

It is what it is. We either take care of business or go 9-3 as expected.

They'll draw the group of 5 team that makes it in to give ND an easier path, then get beat down because they don't really belong. They don't have to go through a conference championship game either. Hope they catch an loss to Army and USC.

I didn’t know until yesterday that the best playoff spot that ND can get is 5. They have to play in the 5-12 game because they are not in a conference. I think that’s a good thing. Even if they are ranked #1, they can’t get a 1-4 spot.
