Put me on the list of people that didn’t think he would do anything. I questioned why we took him.

I WAS WRONG. He has been so good for us both in blocking and as a receiving target.

Errybody wanted that Princeton Fant utility knife without considering that was the grand result of finding a use for an athlete previously without a fit. I thought the Bama training in a traditional TE with Heupel’s scheming would at least merit some productivity. But I didn’t see the ceiling he’s displayed.

Style points to finish the season will be a big factor imo. Need to run the score up on State and UTEP and be very convincing over Vanderbilt. If we do that, and keep it close with Georgia then I think that's enough. We're looking at at least four, possibly 5 SEC teams in the playoffs.

Ugly wins are wins but they do hurt in the committee voting. Squeaking out a win against MISS ST would hurt.

I would imagine it goes back to looking really bad once Pavia leaves. He’s that important to what they are doing and he’s been running that offense for years.


It’s not like they are putting together huge offensive performances the last couple games but they just hold the ball forever.
