He didn’t go into the locker room early. And he probably stayed in the locker room to get some tests done. My guess is he showed symptoms of a concussion, so they wanted to hold him back for some tests.

I didn't say he went early. He got rocked and his head probably started getting worse when they got into the locker room. They would've informed the head coach that the starting QB was showing concussion symptoms (or whatever injury) and needed to be held back. So he would know, even if he didn't know severity.

Not sure why you're dying on this hill based on what I said. None of it negates the point I was making.

I wouldn’t want a player on the sideline if they are showing signs of a concussion. Lights/pyrotechnics are not good for concussions

I’m not dying on any hill. I’m just saying there’s nothing nefarious about them “holding it close to their chest” when in reality, they were probably just waiting for Heupel to get done so they can confirm exactly what it is. I’m not sure why you’re getting your panties in a wad

Anyways, hopefully it’s nothing serious, or at minimum it’s a mild concussion and he’s back by the end of the week. Go Vols!
