If you can ignore the noise about the playoff for a second, it's really cool that were in a mid November game with SEC and national title's on the line.
I remember always hating having the Florida and Bama games so early. The season was decided a lot of times well before November. The journey of this season, while nerve racking at times, how much fun has it been beating the brakes off ncsu, OU, Florida, Bama... Building to this point.
We've played ourselves in to this position, we control our own destiny and can take whatever narratives that exist and throw them in the trash can. The fact that opportunity exists just 4 seasons after the Pruitt era... And really, the second time the last three years... We've come a long way. And the future isn't looking too shabby either.
And the best part, as much hand wringing we're all doing about this scenario or that, do y'all know how many fan bases are rooting for UGA this weekend to improve their narratives? We could disappoint a whole host of people Saturday night. Ole Miss, Missouri, Alabama, Georgia, aTm, Notre Dame, Indiana, PSU... Clemson probably. Miami and SMU too.
What fun that would be... And if not, we're looking at another 10 win season, another win over Bama and Florida and still a shot at getting in to the playoff.
So let's go. GBO
I've been tossed by these guys at this game@RikidyBones
If this is how the Jacksonville PD behaves, you should be careful the next time they're throwing you out of Applebee's.
Sorry old man. Been busy and y'all smell weird@RikidyBones and @BaldBiker are sporadic in their appearances.
it's Crevol, moran. My sources tell me these other people's sources don't know jack shite.
I will corroborate your story. I was told that they never even diagnosed him with a concussion during or after the game, but pulled him for “showing signs”. Nothing ever confirmedI’ve never been one to say “I have a source” but for once I do. Out of respect for that person I will not divulge anything to say who he is and his relationship to the program. That being said, I asked him Sunday to give me any insight so I can calm my nerves and he said that Nico is a go and could have played Saturday, but with the score and the opponent, they wanted to rest him for the second half just to get him to 100%. I haven’t heard anything to say otherwise from him, and until I do I won’t believe anything else written about it. So I’d take things like this with a gigantic grain of salt and call it the media needing to create a story.
Yeah I think they gave Pete the info, but whether or not that info is accurate is a question mark. We'd obviously have motive to say Nico is fine.I actually feel better about Pete’s report because he said he dressed and practiced today.
Think about it…..that comes out minutes after Chris “the bear” says Nico is out? Sounds like UT gave Pete the information
I’m not sure when final injury report is required from the SEC. I’m going to guess he’ll be “questionable” until game time either way.Yeah I think they gave Pete the info, but whether or not that info is accurate is a question mark. We'd obviously have motive to say Nico is fine.
Though I do think it would be funny to say he's not playing then have him ready to go Saturday.
You don’t know how this narrative stuff works- haha.If Nico doesn’t play and we lose to UGA, but he then returns and we smoke UTEP and Vandy, doesn’t the committee have to consider that? Ole Miss lost to UK with Dart. Bama lost to Vandy with Milroe. They had their weapons and still couldn’t get it done. If we’re missing our QB, doesn’t that make it a more acceptable loss than those?
Instead, let’s beat Georgia with Gaston or Nico.If Nico doesn’t play and we lose to UGA, but he then returns and we smoke UTEP and Vandy, doesn’t the committee have to consider that? Ole Miss lost to UK with Dart. Bama lost to Vandy with Milroe. They had their weapons and still couldn’t get it done. If we’re missing our QB, doesn’t that make it a more acceptable loss than those?
