Recruiting Football Talk VIII

He did not run in the prelims.
Neither did Bednarek. He’s the one that screwed up the baton pass.

I think that if they kept the same prelim team that they would have broken the curse.
From what I heard at the last minute they moved Bednarek to 2nd leg from 3rd. He's used to taking the baton from Kerley or Bailey who speed up in the final half of their 100s whereas Coleman slows down (but has the fastest start). So that's why he took off so early.

Who tf really cares? It's not like the players who were on the teams were schlubs. They were all good players, and a good player got left off. I'm sure she'll make it in the future, but I really don't give a crap. Just win.

The only player they could have added that would have caused me great excitement is Candace Parker. Yes, I know she's retired.
She would have helped the team for sure

Same situation every other UT defensive coach inherited.
Yeah but like my high school DB coach told us “most don’t see those guys in front of you “f” up cause it’s a first down but when we do, everyone sees you make an ass outta yourself”.

They had tape on the ground to mark when he was supposed to take off. It's simple. Coleman steps on tape mark, you go.

And there's no way Kerley or Bailey are THAT much faster than Coleman at the end. That was a full second early at least over the course of ten yards.

Baseball is coming to the 2028 Olympics with MLB players.
Hope and pray Dodgers tell their star players No Way in Hell. MLB already plays a World Baseball Classic don't need to play in Olympics when you prove whose best every two years already.

Full disclosure I was a firefighter dong training with a group of about 30 other FF's from several units. I was scared that PD would test it and not find anything (most of their field tests do not test for synthetics) and I would look like I was trying to get out of the training. If I had it to do over again I would have reached out to my shift commander and told him what happened and go from there. I still have no idea what can cause that type of reaction. My guess is some synthetic or God knows what.
