Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Mike might have a turret, but he had no tracks.
A fighter with no wheels is not much to watch.
Neither have wheels.

It’s just so Jake, the media, etc. can say he beat Mike and can book him look appealing for future fights, people tune in to watch Jake because they hate him. His fights create a ton of conversations.

There was 0% Mike was walking away with a win tonight.

Real fighting starts tomorrow. Jon Jones baby

BOT we know you’re one of the nega posters so this isn’t surprising coming from you. The advanced metrics are out there showing we have a better pass rush lol. Sports reporters have said the same regarding our DLine. Our pressure rate is part of the reason QB’s average less yards per attempt, less yards per completion and less yards per game than Ole Miss’s defense. You and Devo, are putting too much focus strictly on sacks lol.
Right so actual stats don’t matter gotcha.

Cool. So I am curious as to how you personally judge a pass rusher. Would you look at his pressure rate or his sack totals?
lol you’re talking a pass rusher when my statement was considering the entire DLine as a unit. If you’re asking on an individual level, I just judge a pass rusher based on their impact on a pass attempt. Whether that be a sack, rushing the passer to affect the throw, forcing a passer to throw before they want, causing a passer to make a bad throw forcing an INT, etc.

Ole Miss for instance has more sacks than us, but our DLine has gotten home at a better rate than theirs, whether we whiffed on a sack is another story but the stat is that our DLine gets home more than theirs to affect the play.
