Sometimes I quietly wonder, how in the hell did we lose to Arkansas?

Growing pains, badly out of game shape OTs...and a bad gameplan..on the road at night in front of a loud rowdy crowd with all the aforementioned discombobulation going on.

Also..Heup got up late, and he didn't want to turn the ball.iver in more, so once he got up a few points he thought he could count on the defense to shut them down with the back up QB in...like the Okie game we had just played...and the defense did, except Jordan Ross f'd up and gave them the ball back..and the rest is history...we are a running into the kicker penalty and 5 points from being unbeaten, probably at least #2 in the nation and not sweating having to win this stupid road game to get in the playoffs.

He's definitely underrated as a passer.

Outside of Auburn and UAB, he's had no problem moving the ball through the air pass for pass.

We (this long suffering faithful fanatical fanbase) deserve a great moment. I hope we pull it off and tell all the scumbags trying to screw us out of the playoffs and put a Alabama team we beat in over us to go screw themselves.

Solid team, but also under Heupel:

13-3 in the SEC at home

But 6-8 on the road


Neyland may just be that good. Or road games in the SEC are just that hard. Probably a bit of each.

Yeah, it will be tougher than usual on the road and vs that defense, unless our offense can win field position consistently (non-scoring drives). Have to avoid 3 and outs. Otherwise they may have short fields, can't allow them gimmes like we have in past years.

Texas has the best defense in the conference and struggled at home. We have to be like UF and OM and absolutely stay in Beck's face all night. Which we haven't done consistently (but seem to do very well later in games). Have to bring that disruptiveness for 60 minutes.

We can not get holding and false starts and stay behind the chains.

A VN tale as old as time...a 50% passer that can't hit the broad side of a barn having a career game against us in which he literally can't miss and throws strikes all night until we knock him out of the game...and then the back up comes in and all sorts of weird stupidity happens.

It is why BVS will never go completely away...it's like malaria.

Just remember, only 1 team stands tall when it’s all said and done, so while I get BVS, pretty much every team gets stuck in that rut of what if.
