Whether it's Texas or A&M, I think Georgia wins the SEC CG. They'll get one of the byes. If A&M beats Texas next week, Texas takes a big hit. The championship games will have a lot to say about where teams are seeded.

We need A&M to beat Texas and then lose to Georgia. That should make us the second highest rated SEC team and give us a home playoff game as either the 7 or 8 seed. About as good a scenario as we could hope for after losing last week.

but give me a 1st round opponent of IU / PSU / ND / AZ St / SMU or Miami
&
2nd rd opponent: tex / Boise St / UM or SMU
&
Then, the other whoever wins vs the other top 4 seed of Texas / Boise / ACC in the semis
&
Oregon / osu in the final

Ideal scenario:

Beat Vandy
Texas beats A&M
Texas beats UGA in SECC game

We finish 3rd in the SEC, rest up, be the best 2-loss SEC team, and likely host.

Wrong. We need A&M to beat Texas then lose to Georgia. That way we finish as the second highest SEC team because we would have better wins than Texas. That would also get us a home playoff game.
