Im not sure that's right. Miami was ranked 6th but seeded 3rd due to the assumption that they'd be the ACC champ. They will definitely fall below the Vols now and will likely lose their playoff spot. The vols will move up one spot due to Miami falling behind us. Maybe I'm wrong. My abacus is broken.

The next highest conference winner will take their spot as the 3 seed. (Likely SMU) we’ll move up in ranking but not seed
