The playoff committee is a joke generally but I love how they put bama in the playoff last week and then put them out for SMU officially.

Way back when all that was being sought was an “And One Game” I predicted we’d follow the (then) I-AA playoff game model and that carried through to when they tried to placate the masses with FOUR teams. Now that I see the end result of 12 teams? I think it’s cleaner and tidier and amps the excitement of the regular season. There will always be the aggrieved martyrs, but this is as fair as biased individual can build a consensus on imo.

Agreed. And unless the criteria changes how the teams are seeded, I don't have a problem with this. I don't even have an issue with auto bid for conf champs. But the bye... That's the biggest issue I see with format....

We're bad on the road, and a night environment will be even worse. I'm not optimistic. We got by far the worst draw in the entire playoff. OSU on the road then Oregon next of we win.

I would imagine so. I could see them going up on Monday or Tuesday of that week, easy.

There’s only a five and a half hour difference. We north enough for the weather in December as temps are still similar. It’s when real winter begins that things get a ton different but we’re not playing in February.
