I actually like the match up as well. I am surprised and think the committee ended up doing a decent job. It is an impossible job with such unbalanced schedules and no way to really evaluate across conferences. They also left those stupid Alabama tater diggers at home with a lot of pressure to include them. I’ll take it and ride with Heupel’s mindset of anyone, anytime, anywhere. Let’s ride.

Ohio State's offensive line without McLaughlin at center and Simmons at OT is... really not great for a top 10 team.

With McLaughlin they have the #12 interior OL in my player evaluation system. Without him they drop to #48. They looked like it against Michigan.

With Simmons they're #34 at OT. Without him they drop to #63.

Overall they've got the #59 offensive line. Below Mississippi State and Kentucky. and 4 spot above Vanderbilt.

Meanwhile we're #9 at the interior DL and #5 on the edge (with Pearce Jr. as the #1 edge player in the country).
