Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Yeah I don't think there's a team in the SEC that escapes the regular season without a loss. Even if they do their reward is to get to play an extra game before the playoffs.
It truly is insane now if you make the SECCG and lose...not only do you have to play another juggernaut, but then you're faced with having to win 4 straight huge games to win a title.

Better win the damn thing if you get to Atlanta.

Tea in particular (vs soda) can lead to kidney stones. Something about minerals in it I think? Or some natural chemical that encourages kidney stones to form that you don't find in soda? When my dad had bad kidney stones they gave him a list of offenders and that was on it. I researched it at the time because I'm an avid tea drinker, and it seemed to check out. I don't remember the full details of why though.

Tea is indeed healthy for you, especially without sugar. It's just that you need to make sure you're drinking some extra water if you're drinking a ton of tea to avoid kidney stones.
Does this apply to tea like Earl Gray or green tea?

Anyone ever taken ketorolac? I got a migraine & toothache at the same time and havent taken it before. The side-effects seem a little extreme. . .
Yes, also known as toradol. It is an amazing drug that helps reduce and/or limit pain, esp dental pain. Toradol was prescribed after I had complications from wisdom teeth extraction. It’s safer than a narcotic and works.

An oral surgeon was surprised when I requested it over a narcotic four yrs ago after I had other dental procedure. The side effects are minimal unless you take for extended period of time. Take with food. They give injections to athletes to help fend off pain.

This dude is such a dork. If you listen to the clip, sounds just like Butch Jones. Top 11 program in the country my ass lol.

By that logic Washington has the 2nd best football PROGRAM.

Lmao. Even as a nerd, he doesn't understand definitions....program vs a good run of one team.

Even after several explanations and being informed that I didn't even say it to the poster that had lost a friend, or at the time he said it...he still wants to clutch his pearls.

My grandfather was a WW2 combat vet. My uncle was a Korean vet. My father was a Vietnam vet. My cousin was a vet-turned-police officer, who ended up committing suicide. My brother is a police officer who found our cousin after he killed himself, and is still in therapy over it. Anyone who questions my respect for our vets and others who serve us doesn't know me. Anyone who will read my explanations of the post in question and still work that hard to fabricate an argument and fake outrage isn't worth another response.

Apologies to anyone else who may have misunderstood and gotten offended (I'm looking at you, @drvenner ).

No explanation needed but classy post.

If I ever have dental work done that needs a pain killer, I'll request it from now on. . . it worked for the migraine too. It's worked incredibly well so far. Only needed it for a day or two, so it seems safe to use in this situation.
