Even though we don’t personally know each other, yall mean a lot to me. This forum, as weird as it sounds, has helped me through some difficult times. There are some disagreements and a lot of banter, but I know the vast majority here really care for each other. It shows.

I appreciate yall and raise a toast to VN……

Home games will never help.

It only compounds preset advantages and exacerbates any preconceived gaps between teams.

Let's stop pretending Boise was the 3rd best team. Seeding based on conference winners was always flawed. It should be changed, and before next go playoff......... Or our will start to lose it's legitimacy and you'll get more of the same dud games.

Ok...someone posted something negative about alcohol, you respond with a bad comparison, I respond to your bad comparison with my reasoning and throw in a suggestion at the end if you want to avoid more negative responses to your alcohol posts. I never requested you to post elsewhere, just a suggestion if you can't handle any negative responses. I can't believe I have to explain this to you. Does seem like you're a bit sensitive to any semblance of negativity about alcohol...probably because it's a hobby and business for you, which I get.

Go put out that fuse before it's too late (and drink responsibly tonight).

Not to jump in this but @mrMet was comparing health effects of alcohol vs foods. You brought in drunk driving into it to move the goalposts. It went downhill from there.

Yep. We should have had ASU in Neyland in the 1st round. Only this season will have these ridiculous automatic seeds...and of course it hurt Tennessee badly the one year that the rules suck. Of course it did.

The last time I drank Turkey 101 was when Notre Dame came to Knoxville and beat us in 1990. My roommate got arrested at the game. They ended up taking him to the ER, then booked him. I finally picked him up around 11pm. He was wearing a hospital gown and his face was still painted orange. I think that was the game Johnny Majors said Rocket Ismail went adios cazoots on his coaches show. We both drank a pint before the game on empty stomachs. Dumb kids. But we made a memory.

Yes but seeding should be dictated by the playoff committee, not conference championship.........I know you're not advocating the opposite, just clarifying my statement.
