Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I have reached the age where my brain has switched from

“I probably shouldn’t do that.”

To

“What the hell, let’s see what happens.”

Probably not the best time for an ideological shift, especially considering that we are going skiing next week 🤠
My mom did that after she retired.

Went from a lifelong Knox Co. elementary schoolteacher to suddenly having a tattoo (matching tattoos with my stepdad when they got married) and taking a year to travel the country in their RV while their new house is getting built. Not something I ever saw her doing.

Same for her brother, my uncle. Has always been tight with money. Now he's tipping everyone in sight at his new course down near Jacksonville and enjoying himself way too much lol

Getting older definitely eases a lot of folks up. They can finally relax and just let it ride.

I have a theory.

The older one gets, the more one realizes what ingrates their kids have been throughout life. There develops an intense desire to spend their inheritance.

If autist Shane wanted to have this fight after an SEC championship game or a playoff game, at least the payoff is hypothetically there.

Busting out the fake informal fair catch for the Citrus bowl is wild.

If you're gonna do stuff like that, you have to at least not care or pretend not to care what other people will say about it. Like Kiffin and the fake injuries. Autist Shane acting like he expected everyone to give him a round of applause for end-arounding a convention that only exists for player safety is hilarious.

Meatballs, Velveeta, two cans of Rotel in a crock pot. You're welcome.
We do ground beef and sometimes, instead of Velveeta, we will get a block of Kroger brand queso cheese and then 1 can of Rotel plus a pint of our medium homemade salsa. Always a favorite dip here.

I love peanut butter and I love whiskey.

I’ve received pb whiskey as gifts before - but got a bottle of this this Christmas and it is the best.
It is gooder!

And dangerous!

Don't need any additives....but one day bartending, I did make a cocktail with that and BUTTERMILK. Diabolical I know.
