The head referee is Michael Vandervelde. He attended Hope College, in Holland MICHIGAN. He grew up in Grandville, MICHIGAN. He officiated the MICHIGAN/ Alabama championship game at the Rose Bowl last year. How does a MICHIGAN native, get selected to call a championship game involving MICHIGAN?

Notre Dame getting screwed a bit. Either way, these 2 QBs are ass and are moments from a title game berth, but some of our fans want to question whether Nico is good enough to get us there.

If we had Penn St’s path, we likely make it to the Semifinal too.

If we had either of their schedules and playoff routes, we make it as well. More an indictment on the teams they had to play than Nico being good or bad.

Thats a special lady right there man. Good grief we have an amazing collection of coaches right now. Football, BasketVols, Baseball, LadyVols, SoftVols....theres actually more too like Golf and we won the national championship in Rugby a couple years ago too. Tennis is solid too. Its actually amazing whats going on at UT right now. The first 5 I mentioned are BIGTIME and the most important revenue sports nationally and especially in the SEC and we are absolutely dominant. Its crazy. It kills me that my Pappaw and my Dad both died right before we started this Golden Age of Tennessee Athletics.
