Looks like Jerry is going give McCarthy another contract.

I'm not really mad about it though. Rash of injuries and the defense learning Zimmer's defensive philosophy ending the season at 7-10 is a pretty good coaching job. Gotta remember Cooper Rush was QB most of season.

Get the band back together and see what happens, they're worse choses than McCarthy.

I have said repeatedly the Cowboys are the most consistently decent team you'll ever meet. They get ragged on vastly out of proportion to their overall performance. The issue is they want championships.

BTW. I wouldn't give up on Bryce Young yet, he played very well toward end of season. The team also played much better..

I truly believe in Bryce. No one else here did. They see glimpses now.

Yet they took us to overtime at HOME the beginning of the year without Lagway and have gotten a ton of additional talent via the portal and recruiting since then. They are beginning to get their act together, which is scary, see wins against LSU, Ole Miss, and spanking Tulane in the bowl.

Incorrect. And Mertz was significantly better than Lagway was at any given point lst season

Not really. I feel like Texas is gonna bring it though and part of UT and Oregons issue was going "oh crap"

Texas knows they are dealing with a buzz saw. I just don't think their offense will keep up at all. OSU might totally shut them down. Texas has zero vertical passing game.
