Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Yeah. Our commish (which is me in one of my dynasty leagues) has to manage draft pick trades and keep the draft board updated. I would like to migrate to Sleeper, but don’t want to deal with the bellyaching from the league.
I pretty much got 4-5 people on board and then ruled as a dictator to make the switch lol

Agreed. As you said despite the pandering I still like his style more than the “hot take for controversy” types. I just don’t get too excited about his takes now that we’ve seen the pattern.

IDK I haven’t seen him pumping up teams like Florida or SC but sure he is def. positive about teams with positive outlooks. He likes to rely on analytics too much so he’s unlikely to have a really surprising take but he’s solid.
 
not sure how valid this is but apparently the staff is keeping tabs on a RB out of SC that committed to Georgia St. recently. Seeing how his year goes. Maybe a Daune Morris backup option?

I’m sure coaches have their reasons but I wonder why we are so deadset on taking another RB especially with the portal after this season? We have Sampson, Seldon, Bishop, Lewis, Keith + Baker coming in. I guess they see a couple leaving. Need to land a big time RB next class for sure.
 
I can get on board with this. I prefer leaner cuts, so ribeye would be my last choice.

Same, I know people always rave about ribeye "melting in your mouth" but I just don't like chewing on fat I guess.

Top Sirloin done right is hard to beat for me but overcooked it'll be tougher for sure.

Sampson probably gone after this season. None of those other guys have proven they can carry the load. All of them have been injured at a physically demanding position that often has injuries. I think it’d be crazy not to take 2 RBs.

A good ribeye is about as good a steak as you'll get. A bad ribeye is about as bad a steak as you'll get. There are a lot of meh ones.

The problem of a ribeye is once you have the good one, nothing else compares. I got one at Ye Olde 20ish years ago that ruined me.
