Thanks for the info. I mean we are gonna let them run a little. Figure we will give them maybe an acre to run around on. Is that too much? You don't need a rooster. But if your going to let them free range the benefit of a royster is they'll often protect the flock and take one for the team should there be an attack from a predator.
The drawback is sometimes they decide they are alpha and attack you or most often women or children.
This is easily corrected by confidence and showing them who is boss. It took my wife a while to get the hang of it
If you're just getting a few for eggs I'd make a coop and a decent sized run. You can let them out under supervision for safety.
Rhode Island Reds, Cinnamon Queen, Blue Sapphire and Black Sex Links are all good choices. Avoid straight run of any breed.
My favorite breed are Polish. I lost one just like this a couple of years ago........ Her name was Disco

Good luck with it, they are fun.
LmaooooNo. My argument is that Jeter is overrated because of some huge clutch moments and his high profile with the Yankees.
Like I said, he’s a hall of famer. His value, though, was in durability and availability, which shouldn’t be devalued. He was what you call baseball good for a really long time. Above average on offense, below average on defense.
Lots of guys, at their peak, were way better than Jeter though. Garciaparra, Larkin, Reyes, Tulowotzki, Ozzie, Ripken, Arod are just a few.
You saying he’s the second or third best is my point. By the numbers, Robin Yount was better.
Do you ship to NY or CTBreaking dry January to pick a Penelope barrel today at Lux Row. Rough rough life over here
