The flurry of fouls called at the end and the non-call on Broome that ended up a turnover is what sank us.

what do you expect playing the #1 team on the road and a NPOY candidate?

That was the weirdest switch in calls I’ve ever seen. Aub had like 3 maybe 4 bad calls on them the final 8 or so minutes then all of sudden you miss Broome grabbing and pulling a player and call it a travel??? Insane

The one thing I hate about Basketball is the referees have too much influence. One day, maybe these final shots will go our way. Great play by Z, Okpara and Mashack. Just wish we could have won it.

Can they ban people from specific threads? pretty sure they can ban them from different forums.

Maybe it’s me but Chaz seems to be struggling against good teams. It’s like if he can’t get the 3 going he has no game.

He can't dribble which means he can't create his own shot. Great catch-and-shoot player.

He seems to get nervous when it's all on him--that's why I think Barnes went with Z. I guess they could have drove to the basket and either got the tie or the foul, but nobody knew what these refs were going to do.

It was a good play.

AU was never going to let Lainer shoot behind the arch. Gainey is fouled out. Based on how the bigs have played thus far on offense, do you really want to go that route?

Mighty Mouse has played the best down the stretch. It was a good look. The ball rimmed out on the game winner vs the #1 team in the country. Not much more you can ask for from a coaching standpoint.

Give him an iso and let him drive with a pass to the perimeter to Lanier if needed, If Broome crashed for the double team Okpara is there for an alley oop. He’s also much better at driving than 3’s. That was a difficult shot and rushed with 9 seconds left

I will say ZZ missing that layup on the iso he had v Broome was brutal and might have been the reason for the 3 instead

100%. We should have had another chance with 3.5 secs left. That was one of the top 2 worst calls of the game.

Why not just put them on ignore? I've never understood that. My experience on here has to be so much more pleasant than yours. I never have to sort through a bunch of trash posts.

I think maybe it was an intentional 3 and put back play. Double odds in some ways. They were off gaurd.

I thought @Freak locked someone out of the Gruden Threads. He might have just kicked them totally off the site altogether. Whichever it was, I remember @Freak doing it while he was wanting in line for movie tickets and posted about it. That was a wild night on here.

Assuming that orange-tinted scenario, are you really playing for overtime on #1 team's home court with Gainey already fouled out?

It was a tactically sound play and absolutely the right play strategically.
