Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I've always hated the Pats. AND they just screwed a VFL. If Trey Smith signs elsewhere as a FA, my Chiefs days are probably over, unless they draft another VFL. I cheer for VFLs to succeed. Bills don't have any. If another VFL was left in the playoffs, I'd be cool with them winning.
Fair on VFL, but I am over Mahomes, Kelce, and the refs.

He was. Moss is the best deep threat in NFL history. But that’s it. Many WRs were better route runners.
Maybe but that still doesn’t make him a one trick pony. I guess Manning was too. He could only throw touchdown passes. Couldn’t run one in to save his life.

My Korean neighbor asked why flags were half staff across the state all month. I told him they passed a bill banning porn.

I don’t understand what is so difficult to comprehend. I don’t make up the rules. What I think doesn’t matter. Business is the same in every industry. Not accepting weaknesses in your business model doesn’t affect the outcome.
30 wins in 3 years is not weakness. See the previous 15 for what is true weakness.

My dog is so subtle. I’m never sure what he wants. Thinking he might want me to throw the ball down the hall, but I’m not sure.View attachment 717615
I love pet pics and besides it’s the off season for football. I need fillers in between BB and BaseVols. Keep em coming guys and gals.

When someone has control and a body part on the ground. So by the time the bills knee hit the ground, worthy had gained control.

They also decided when the ball touched the ground, it didn't move so it wasn't incomplete.

Tie goes to the offense.

Unless the rule changed the last 4 years in college, if ball is in dual possession airborne, the first to hit the ground completes the catch and awarded possession. Never seen it, but read it in the book while researching something else and it shocked me,

Edited to add.... opened my old book up and here it is....

Completed Pass—ARTICLE 6Approved Ruling 7-3-6I.

Two opposing players receive a legal forward pass while both are off the ground, and both players return to the ground inbounds at the same timeRULING: Simultaneous catch; the ball is awarded to the passing team (Rule 2-4-4)II.

Two opposing players receive a ball while both are off the ground, and one player returns to the ground inbounds before the other. RULING: No simultaneous catch. The legal forward pass is completed or intercepted by the player who first returned to the ground (Rule 2-4-4)

With replay simultaneously hitting the ground is remote.

I'm almost positive tie always goes to the offense. But maybe nfl or ncaa does it differently.
