Given the lack of upfront public knowledge/level of secrecy and the late night release...and ofc the names involved..I'd say so.

Luka’s career now

LeBron will ruin him. I don’t see that working out very well.

If I’m Luka, I’m already requesting to be traded again.

It's a longterm move. I have more faith in the Lakers org than, say, the Rockets (Harden is an easy comp to Luka) to go out and pair a dominant big with him.

Kareem...Shaq...Pau...AD, all won a title with an elite playmaker. The Lakers get the formula.

Not sure they would trade DK or Reaves.

It depends on Bron. He has a clause but he can waive that for the right packages.

LeBron and Luka aren’t a good match. You trade LeBron to the Warriors (rumors) take some of their young talent and surround Luka with it since he’s only 25.

Keep Reaves and DK to play with Luka. It’s a long term play for the Lakers.

Now if they keep LeBron and those were just rumors. I’d maybe get rid of Dorian and whatever first round picks I had left to go get Jarret Allen.

Reaves, Luka, Bron, Rui and Allen wouldn’t be a bad lineup. You just wouldn’t have a bench lol. I’m hoping they lean toward trading LeBron and just surround Luka with young talent.

Luka is LeBron's replacement. He's 40. This is a long term move, not a 24-25 season move.

Doesn't he need to stick around a couple of seasons, so the Lakers have a reason to keep Bronny? If he retires, they are cutting Bronny's ass.

LBJ could easily move up to front office (if he wants), but I also think he may play a bit longer than KnoxVol believes. I could be wrong, but he could attempt a Brady and get into his early 40s. Modern athletes are different, which reminds me of something I seent yesterday. I've seen clips of him and Stabler would just casually chat up the cheerleaders while smoking cigarettes during critical defensive stands




Which also reminds me of a recent story about Lynn Swann having to jump over a Caddy. Folks just had to park behind the end zone. Times sure were different lol

I’d trade the two picks they just received plus any first rounders remaining. Kleber and Morris offer nothing now or in the future. Get Jarret Allen, one of very few good centers they could get.

The Lakers aren't winning anything this year. The best case for the Lakers is that LeBron teaches Luka how to be a professional and what's expected from him as a superstar.

Dude is a generational talent. No one wants to see him fall short of his potential because he's immature and lazy.
