Harbin, known around the Tennessee program as “Chop,” isn’t a typical analyst. And that’s why he has been sought after by other SEC programs for higher-profile positions.

Harbin works alongside veteran defensive line coach Rodney Garner, who has assembled one of the top units in college football and produced several NFL players.

Myles Garrett asked for a trade out if Cleveland. How many teams you think will go after him, hopefully Cowboys would be one of those teams..

He would benefit many teams short term…2-3 seasons. But they’ll be asking for a HAUL and the trading partner needs to be equipped.

I'd like to see us hire 11 onfield positions.

We've been using our 11th for an analyst role and splitting duties/titles for a few others.

Halzle is OC/QBs
Ekeler was ST/OLB


So with Ekeler gone I'd like to see Chop get OLBs and then we hire or elevate just a Special Teams coach and have 11 total coaches that can be involved in off-campus recruiting instead of using an analyst for one.

Max Thurmond may get the ST. He's been an Offensive Analyst for us since 2022.

But he was Special Teams and LB at West Alabama, Austin Peay, Charlotte, and Jacksonville State.

Thurmond isn't on staff anymore.

Figured it was coming since our insiders said he was basically useless.

Our special teams have been elite under him, especially coverage units up until the kickoff TD at vandy this year. I am sure CJH will replace him with a winner though

Wow! I’m floored we jumped 4 spots after a split. Maybe the voters recognized how brutal this stretch was for us and we had sicknesses/injuries?

I know I have asked many time but we need your thoughts and prayers now more than ever. The doctor just called me and told me that OH isn’t going to come home this time. He wants me to switch to DNR and ease his passing but I can’t do this. I can’t just give up. It goes against every fiber of my being. I’m shattered but I can’t just give up on him. Forgive me for being selfish but I just can’t.

After feeling utterly hopeless Saturday and Sunday morning, I didn’t want to go to the hospital yesterday. I wanted to stay home and feel sorry for myself but I had called a priest (OH is catholic) and he had called back and said he would be down there. So I drug myself back to the hospital and at the sound of my voice OH opened his eyes despite the vent and the propofol. He knew when I was speaking to him and by the end of the visit he was nodding his head to statements and questions. He is still in there and fighting.

I don’t know what the future holds and odds are still very slim but I have some hope now and a little bit of joy from seeing him respond to me. It gave me certainty that I did the right thing by not giving up on him.

A million thanks won’t cover the debt of thanks I owe you all for the support and kindness you’ve shown. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We’re in for a helluva fight but we are definitely going to fight.
