In general, there's absolutely a reason for populist outrage....but not for this forum.I sat courtside for the UF game. I can attest that they are not. I can also attest that some of the snobby rich folks were cheering just fine.
The populist outrage gets tiresome. Don't like how we fan? Pay what we pay and come show us.
The eyes in questionNo stats are irrelevant for anybody who watched the games. All box scores do is give people who didn't watch information about what happened in the game. However, that information will always be limited compared to actually watching the game.
Do you really need to see the box score from the Bills vs Chiefs playoff game last Sunday to know who did or didn't play well? When you watch a game closely you will have superior information to any stat sheet.
I judge players exclusively on the eye test. I watch them play and determine how good they are based on what I see in game rather than basing my opinion on what I see after the game on the stat sheet.
Jokic would dominante every player in NBA history based on analytics even Michael Jordan. He's the greatest statistical player in NBA history according to the advanced stats. It's why I don't use stats as the barometer for judging players. It would lead you to silly conclusions like Jokic being better than Jordan.
I only did that statistical comparison for the ignorant LeBron fans who are enamored by his stats when it benefits him but then ignore his stats when others are better.
