For me, next year is our first year to contend for titles. It will be totally CH’s team and this year will be an indicator of things to come. I think Nico fits Heupel‘s system and we will see the entire playbook running at warp speed.

Defensively, we are catching up with hopes that we are there. I am not worried about the front 7….it’s the DB’s I’ll be watching in hopes of significant improvement.

That being said, the schedule lines up really well for us. 9-3 is there with an outside shot at 10-2.

I think the media is living of our last 10-15 years and wants to see us prove it before they jump aboard.

Ok I have a serious question for you guys.

Are we setting ourselves up for heartache this season? No one and I mean no one on the national level expects us to be very good this year! Before you jump all over me I know they are wrong often, such as Fl St being ranked 10 and losing to Ga Tech.

Is it because Nico only has one game under his belt? Are we just seeing everything through orange shaded glasses?

What are all of us seeing that they aren’t?

Several commentators I consider knowledgeable see us as a legit bubble team and dark horse. There are reasons Nico has heisman odds with only one bowl win to his name. For me it comes down to playing better on the road and the OL staying healthy. We don't have conference champ depth there or experience at the QB position.

One Georgia commentator who does good analysis has routinely said this year maybe and next year look out for UT.

We started so well against Bama last year. Until Heupel proves me wrong I think Kirby has our number because he has the horses to play man, so I don't count that one. It will come down to Nico though. He is likely to have some growing pains.

Cannot wait to see how Heupel/Nico obliterate defenses with this earpiece. My understanding is Nico will be able to listen all the way to 15 seconds on the clock. This is going to be unfair to defenses.

Curious how it will work with warp speed no huddle.

Heupel is so used to signaling and the whole team knows the play. Will Nico now get the signal and then have to tell/signal the rest of the team? I guess I don't get it without huddling.

Genuinely don't know what you're referring to.

Both polls have us at 15 lol. I believe SP+ has us 12th or 10th or so...

Folks are hyping Nico up across the country.
