I used to really enjoy going to Gatlinberg back in the 70's and 80's. But it just isn't the same any more to me because it has lost much of its local roots from all the arts and crafts folks etc who were pushed out to make room for many corporate chain businesses etc. We still go at least once a year but pick our spots carefully.

I tend to avoid burning bushes, so I won't need the ointment. And some of those burning bushes will give you something even ointment can't help.
