Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Beginning of the "Lincoln County (NM) War"

The unprovoked, sadistic murder of Englishman John Henry Tunstall on Feb. 18, 1878, was the event that kicked off the bloody Lincoln County War. Tunstall was killed while attempting to flee from a “posse” of at least two dozen men led by just deputized Jacob Mathews. The posse, little more than a lynch mob backed by Tunstall’s bitter business rivals Lawrence Murphy and James Dolan, included at least four notorious outlaw gunmen. Fleeing with Tunstall were Billy the Kid, Robert Widenmann, Richard Brewer and John Middleton. The men were driving a string of horses from Tunstall’s ranch on the Rio Feliz to Lincoln, as Tunstall wanted to save the animals from confiscation by the posse.

What followed has been adapted into countless movies and books about the Lincoln County War and Billy the Kid.

History is so cool, I love history. I dont ever attention to it though. When I found out about Pearl Harbor, I was just as surprised as they were.

The old Lincoln Co. courthouse is one of many historic sites still standing in Lincoln, NM. Billy the Kid escaped jail on the second story, killing two deputies on his way out. April 28, 1881.

I understand game of hockey. Actually I dont, nor will I ever care too. But, what wouldve been wrong with us coming out, and acting like we'd been there before?

Instead we came out, and acted like drunk teenagers trying to impress the skirts. It's tacky and embarrassing. If you think that behavior is cool, then, you may want to reevaluate priorities.
You have to be trolling.

I would rather get a wide awake zero anesthesia colonoscopy than watch this version of the Rick Barnes offense when it’s creeps it’s ugly head

Thanks, a profound example of addition by subtraction with your absence. I prefer foxhole worthy fans, but that may just be me!

Things I won't be reading: AtoZ Sports articles

Let me guess, reference of a tweet or statement someone said, not an actual interview by their staff, and no reasoning as to why the person said this just speculation and no substance. Basically, posting a screenshot of the original statement would be just as informative as the article.
