Absolutely the shear amount of act a fool in a hooked small mouth is unreal. I ve seen them jump 5 feet in the air then hit water and run straight towards the boat then dive under boat and jump behind the boat . Ive hung into some good small mouth on watts bar back in its hay day my biggest was a 7lb 8 oz and that was a fight . I've caught several 9 plus pound large mouths and they dont compare.

The amount of truth to this lol. Caught a 5lber when I was a kid while wading a creek on a live crawfish that I caught. Sight casted to him too. Insane fight. My dad was ecstatic and said I could get him mounted.

Sucker had one more trick up his sleeve.... bucked loose from my dad's hands and swam off. It's been almost 20 years and I still won't let him forget it.

I remember the first time I caught a decent fish. It was probably 3lbs. I was 8-10 years old. I would've sworn that thing was 10lbs, . I about flipped out when I saw how big an 8lb+ bass actually is.

Yup, never fails.

Always wanted a pic of big, bronze Red with purple tail. Landed one on crab imitation, back in 19. Guide said was second biggest he'd had landed on his boat, on fly.

Guide grabbed him, got him with the jaw clamp. Measured, handed to me for photo. 39.5 inches. I'd estimate 22-25 lbs in that range, maybe bigger.

I grab him by the tail. Lift up for the camera, one shake of his massive head. Gone.

No photo. Just video, I think this is same fish.

How's that even possible? We have multiple ranked wins, and I'd think even Louisville would be higher at this point.

Yeah I mean, I will say regardless of what they're doing right now that was a huge, tough win. They were at full strength and that arena was juiced. Season looks different for both teams if that goes the other way.

NET actually values the road Texas win higher than the home Mizzou win. Texas is a quad 1A win, and the Mizzou game is now just outside of quad 1A.
