And now he is using Barnes personally as a way to do the same thing. Bruce vainly blathers that Barnes thinks I'm great. Of course Barnes is going to say nice things about Bruce before and after a game. Barnes is a professional.

I won't deny that I amused myself by noticing the ambiguity in Barnes' remarks centering on the fact that Bruce knows how he wants his team to play and recruits those kind of guys. Thuggishly and thugs, imo. He does have a really good team. Loved beating Bruce in the tournament.

I was also pissed by the thuggish way Bruce's guys played us in Auburn. And I think Aubie stole the win due to a traveling call on us late when one of Bruce's finest wrapped our guy up and pushed him down the court.

Bruce did have some great moments here. I rooted for him here.

But I think people forget what a Kiffin-esque train wreck Bruce left us with here. It took us years to recover. And now like Kiffin, he is obsessed with Tennessee.

If he and his anti-Barnes trolls (Bruce nut-huggers) would STFD and STFU, I think I would feel less antagonist. But I do not want him here. And I don't want him to win anything.

I agree that he doesn't try to recruit high character guys and his teams don't play clean. I definitely don't want him to win anything because I freaking hate Auburn

I've said it before on here, Bruce Pearl is the reason I fell in love with TENNESSEE Basketball, so he'll always have a place in my heart. However, after Buzz Peterson's recruits graduated, Bruce brought in some low character guys to fill up the roster. They were fun to watch but I was always checking the news to see if his players were getting arrested. I don't want Pearl back for that reason. I'm not saying all his recruits are "thugs" but they are totally different from a Rick Barnes' team. I love the maturity and character that most of Barnes' players have had. It's great that UT isn't getting slung through the mud anymore over some stupid crap our players do. Football, basketball, baseball and LV sports all seem to get high character players that represent the university well. It really is the "golden era" for all of UT.

It's the same incident. The cops let him go Monday night after he claimed he was only driving 25-30 mph when his car left the road rear-end first, hit a power box, bounced off a parked car (which hit a second car), stopped a few feet away from an apartment complex.

Easley told the police that he was driving 25-30 mph. Georgia police see no reason to perform drug and alcohol tests after crashes involving UGA football players, of course.

Easley was treated for minor injuries at the hospital.

Easley was suspended from the team on Thursday.

Easley was not arrested until Friday morning. Everything was in place, and he got out in 40 minutes.

Easley’s arrest is the 32nd known incident by since Jan. 15, 2023. Fortunately, so far there are "only" 2 fatalities.

Yeah and as it turns out there was Ondre Evans (former #1 player in TN) was also in the car but not suspended.

I wonder if this was another street racing incident and Easley was driving 1 vehicle while Tuggle was driving the other. Otherwise, why do you suspend the driver and 1 passenger but not the other passenger.
