I know some of you frown upon my end of the state in Shelby County. But we have roughly 10,000 alumni. I can’t go anywhere these days without someone talking about UT sports. Our department is on another level now. Two of my kids had different sports this morning, and I had multiple conversations about the game last night and others who gave the “Go Vols.” Fun times.

Memphis is a pretty key part in Tennessee. I wish it was more functional because tourism could explode there and it would help the west side of the state so much. It’s great to see Tennessee being talked about from Johnson City to Memphis

Win or lose this game the Lady Vols have checked all the boxes in year 1 I’d say for most fans. 24-9, Sweet 16 and a recruiting class ranked 2nd in the country coming in next season. Even a few bad L’s but bounced back at the right time. Overall a success and bright future on Rocky Top. Caldwell has done great all while dealing with a baby

SIAP but Purdue fans whining about officiating is so incredible

100% incredible Purdue fans are whining over refs after all these years

But both can be true.

A foul is a foul regardless of the time on the clock. Otherwise it's mere timing bias. Nothing kills me more than a commentator saying "you can't call a foul in THAT moment of the game"...as if all of those prior calls in "lesser" moments didn't lead up to that very moment. Every moment has equal importance, even if human perception and bias has a hard time delineating.

You call (or don't call) fouls regardless of the time on the clock.
