Recruiting Football Talk VIII

The funny thing about backup QBs is that it's hard to predict how good they'll be in actual game time. In 2021 nobody expected hooker to come in and outshine Milton. Yet he did.
True, but both are young and have limited reps. Tough ask. Heupel is the best judge I suppose. We'll know on the 16th I suspect.

Heā€™s from California. I doubt he gives a **** about Tennessee or Knoxville at all. I donā€™t think any of that mattered to him. Paycheck does, though.
IDK as Zakai or Jahmai what Knoxville means to them and Iā€™m sure theyā€™ll have a lot to say. It doesnā€™t matter where youā€™re from, even people from other nations, when you immerse yourself in the college experience and environment you tend to grow attached to it. It makes me wonder if Nico was too much like Henry T and just never really here. If so, I feel bad for him because he has missed something that money canā€™t buy.

Any former college athlete will happily tell you about how much fun they had in college and the things they talk about tend to be similar to the things non athletes talk about. That is if they were ever really there. NIL may well be breeding a few that are so captivated by the dollar signs that theyā€™re missing out on what makes the college experience so special to so many.

So Nico gonna walk on at Arkansas, thus avoiding the in sec transfer rule since not on scholarship. Then start for them this season, in the game against us in Knoxville. Holy hell that environment would be so metal.
Hell, at this rate a walk on May be his only option. Obviously somebody will be dumb enough to get in bed with them, but he's their problem now.
